Can we work on building a directory of email lists? Im willing to help with this but it's going to need some cooperation from the info table.

I can help.
Do you mean mailing lists that people have signed up to, or email lists of contacts etc?
I have lists for:
General newsletter update contacts (the big general sign-up list) PR working group & available contributors/interviewers Press list Political Strategies group Group to group contacts & point person for each group (including who has access to twitter, FB website etc, newsletter etc) Radical Caucus List of those willing to contribute in some way (I am still sorting) Contacts from various proposers at GAs Capital area community organization contacts (list Abe started) National Contacts Statewide Occupy contacts and a few random others
Are you looking for comprehensive lists from each working group? What do you need the lists for (so that I know which are relevant)?
Does anyone want to help to input new mail list names every night? (It takes about 15-20min)
Josh, or anyone else, do you want to help organize and manage the fledgling database?

We need a better way to communicate then the boards allow. I hate that I can't have certain information pushed to me.
I think there are several groups organizing their own listserv but no central place to find them. It's fragmenting communication.

If Mary can be a main gathering and inputting emails person that would be amaaazing. I simply can't make it to every GA to collect emails and I am not always efficient about getting them input at night.
Gail, Are you into inputting too? Or do you want to be the person that scans the minutes and the calendar here to pull out relevant info and meeting dates to communicate in the newsletter etc?

I will certainly be willing to do the email entry, Hezzie, and if you let me know when you can't be at a GA and it's one I can't get to, I'll ask Gail or someone else to collect addresses on that day. How does that sound to you, Gail? (I'm emailing this response to Hezzie as requested, but want it to be visible to all.) Gail, may I have your email address? I'll PM you mine.

Once collaboration working group has power, a computer, and internet we can update this constantly and make it more useful.

We are testing some of the wi-fi equipment today. If anyone has a laser pointer we could use it to help point the antennas from across the street.
