Oureach/Coalition Building's role with PR

Could we get a quick discussion about the role of PR as a subset of media in relation to the existing Oureach/Coalition Building WG?

It is a conjecture of mine that PR would be responsible for crafting discrete messages in the form of flyers with respect to GA business but Outreach is more catered to the individual group/person we are looking to inform about the GA?

In that way, as a media/tech savvy person myself involved in Outreach, would it be possible to, in addition to creating pdf copies of flyers, upload the source file (.tex or some other word processing that we can edit) at least at a specific place on the forum? It would help us be able to make small changes without changing layout. This will be especially useful for different languages.

My interest in PR is making sure our -desired- message gets out to media sources, web etc. It seems like Outreach is more about contact with individuals and groups to assist in getting them involved.. They do seem to work in tandem with each other so there should be close communication. I am happy to include flyers etc under our wing if you need us to, but that seems maybe best under Outreach? Thoughts?

Right now there are three groups working in these areas.

Here is what there doing as I understand it:

Coalition Building - Target existing organizations & non-profits. Try and build membership and accrue resources by establishing relationships with pre-existing, like-minded groups.

Outreach - Traditional grassroots organizing. Door-to-Door, Lit-dropping, flyering events.

PR - Making sure we have a media friendly message. Ensuring that our public face doesn't appear defensive to the main-stream.
