As suggested by 8-year-old Bear at the GA on Thursday, 10/27, we now have a small (1/4 page) simple flyer that interested children can hand out when they go Trick-or-Treating on Monday evening. There are several hundred of these already made up, black on orange, and available at the Information Table. You can also print and cut your own from this file. If kids want to sign them, or hand-write 'occupyalbany.org' on them, that'd be just fine. As designed, these are just very simple and general flyers about the Occupy movement and why kids would support it. These are intended for interested children who have a desire to spread the word about Occupy. It would be best for all involved if no kids were asked to hand these out unless they really understand them and want to do it. Thanks! Attachments:

Heard the flyers at the Information table were going out at a pretty good pace. I'd love to hear what kind of reaction they got from the people they were handed to -- if your kids gave out flyers last night, could you post a little something here about how they were received?
Thanks!

Z only remembered to give them to a handful of people. The ones who reacted were enthusiastic. "You support Occupy Albany? That's great! I do too!" etc. A couple people were confused but took them w/o saying anything & maybe looked at them once they got inside. This was in the Delaware Ave neighborhood of Albany.
