I'm Casey Chapman and I'm a lifelong (except for a couple of years here and there) resident of the Capital Region. I've lived in Albany, Troy, Halfmoon, Mechanicville and Stillwater and feel connected to southern Saratoga County and Troy the most. I also spend a lot of time in Saratoga for music-related things (I'm a singer/songwriter) and know lots of people up there. I've been a part of a lot of communities, so hopefully that can be an asset in reaching out to people I'm part of the outreach working group and trying to get an arts and music working group going.

I'm Stephanie and am a recent graduate of SUNY Albany. I moved from Dutchess County to Albany for school about 2 years ago and then just kind of stayed around since I like the area. I just moved to Troy in August and am really happy about this movement and what's happening in Albany! EDIT:Please register with the message board and repost. This will be deleted after 10/17/11.-Flashmob

Hi I'm Mandy and a graduate student in the MSW program at SUNY. I moved from outside of Pittsburgh, PA 2.5 years ago to Albany. I'm looking forward to working with together with Occupy Albany to make our communities stronger. This is my first time doing something on a larger scale like this so I have a lot to learn and excited about being a part of it.

My name is Mark and I have lived in Clifton Park since 2002.
Working in sales or sales management for the past 15 years I have learned how to attract people to an idea or concept, show them the benefits and move them to action. I have experience building and leading teams and developing and presenting presentations to individuals and groups. I strongly believe in education, giving people the knowledge and information they need to make an informed decision.
This group has committed members and it undoubtedly will help the movement grow. I want to work with this group and help it any way I can.
My specific interests lie in getting people in Saratoga County informed and involved. Saratoga County, the largest county in the area, has 1 city (Saratoga Springs), 1 college (The College of St Rose) and many towns and villages. While I still want to still want to be a member of this group I am also starting an Outreach Saratoga group (see postings on general board and proposed wg's board for more info) to try to better coordinate efforts "up north".
Looking forward to seeing all tonight.

I'm Dave, and I am interested in this working group. I would love to flyer and talk to people about Occupy Albany, what's going on, and how they can support. I work part time, but I can go to meetings and I have started a hardcopy newsletter for Occupy Albany, where we can go into more detail on what's going on and such.
I have lived in Albany for 10 years and was once a part of the Ironweed Collective. I've been volunteering with Troy Bike Rescue off and on for 5 years as well.
So when is the next meeting of this group?

I'm Dave. I live in Albany. I like to talk to people about things of substance. I think that outreach is the most important group that we have and it needs to grow considerably.
EVERYTHING THAT WE DO HERE IS OUTREACH
We need to be as visual and vocal and accessible as possible.I'll be on here and at the park, hit me up. And Yo- We need something like a welcoming committee or greeters at the park

Chrys here. Thought I registered yesterday but don't see it. Want to post something pertaining to our outreach meeting last night. There is free panel discussion at Alb Pub library about CLASS & the AMERICAN DREAM Sat at 1pm facilitated by our friend, Jean Fei, of SJC Board. Can anyone check w/ Shanna as to possibly changing time of Theater of the Oprressed workshop Sat morning to Sunday? Thanks! Chrys
