Where's the political art

Albany is the cultural center of the region. I am not an artist, but I know that there are a lot of talented artists around. Where is the street art? Where is the sidewalk political theater? Who's raiding the sticker dumpster? I am not very capable when it comes to these things, but i know that many of you are. Being visual is so key in all of this. People are bombarded with thousands of images all day.We need to shift their focus from that eye pollution with your creative and beautiful works. Art inspires people. It gives them hope and makes them wonder. Also, is anyone putting together art shows?

Cool. And many others are as well I'm sure. Just tryin to get thoughts out in the air. We're all on such similar wavelengths, just waiting to make a connection. Like I said, I'm not really inclined, but I value what everyone else can do so much. We have a rich arts community in this area and I can't wait to see art everywhere. If anyone has any thoughts or plans on group projects of any sort, throw them out there and watch ideas blossom into actions.
