Hey I just want to point out that many of us are working overtime in a very new situation which is unknown territory for all of us. On top of that we are working in this tense environment outside in the cold with threat of arrest with 100 and more people many of us have never met before.
I would like to suggest we all do some icebreaker events, including some that are completely apolitical, like a party or something.

yes!! I know "team building" stuff is considered dorky, but I guess I'm that kind of dork cuz I like it. If anyone else is interested in trust falls and "new games" (cooperative games w/ no winners and losers) and stuff, contact me and we can organize some.

Hi I'm Amy (3Lpoet, here) and on Friday 11-11-11 at 9am I will be at Occupy Albany to facilitate an icebreaker called Driftwood. It is a fun nonverbal way to get to know people. I put it on the Calendar and under Safety because it is used by some to begin a mediation or peace circle to resolve or explore conflicts. I hope people will be willing to try this! If you want to participate, just bring yourself, and make sure you have had something to eat before 9Am to ground yourself.
