Have people been saving the "box of joe" containers for re-use? I went to pick them up yesterday morning and they were still in use.. had asked a few people to save them. They're great for transporting coffee/hotwater back to OA.
Also, I am looking for anyone who might have the recipe for making oatmeal in a crock pot. Do you just use the directions for cooking on a stove, and leave it in the crock pot until done? I'm thinking this could be started before bed and maybe done in the morning?
Additionally - someone posted an idea on FB... "Spuds for Buds"... Put 20 potatoes wrapped in tin foil in the oven for 90 minutes at 350 deg. Use oven mitts to take them out of the oven. Bring the hot potatoes to OA - they make great hand warmers while they're hot, and they fill the tummy when you're done with warming your hands!
Any other food related 'hot stuff' ideas?

I wouldn't recommend cooking oatmeal in a crockpot. I think a better solution would be to use quick oats (same thing, just rolled thinner). After adding boiling water, it would be done in a matter of minutes.
I used them when making bread.

Thanks - I'm not a fan of oatmeal, so I'm wasn't sure of how to make it.
Does anyone have a schedule/rough idea of when there will be hot meals available? I don't want to make something if someone else has already covered that meal.
(Any guess on how to figure this out? The forum seems to be rather... silent... lately)

There was an update last night about meals. I don't recall specifically but I believe brunch was from 9 to 11am and dinner was from 3 to 5pm.
