Is anyone driving out today (saturday) for the GA that I could hitch a ride with? If not, I'll take a bus, it's okay. I'm just thinking it would be a fun way to meet occupiers from Troy.

Ben - biking from Troy - Corning preserve bike path goes almost all the way up to the Green Island Bridge, which is an at-grade crossing. It's been a while, but I think there was a short flight of stairs on the pedestrian path of the bridge. Nothing too daunting, though. Between the bridge and the corning preserve, you're stuck with Route 32 which is pretty icky to ride on in that stretch (lots of traffic, no real shoulder, the sidewalk isn't great for riding on either iirc) or you could go a block or two into the residential area and ride along a less trafficky street. It's not a long stretch of the ride, though.
There's a pedestrian bridge connecting the corning path to Pearl Street that's right downtown, quite near the occupation site.

I'm not sure if they've finished cleaning up the Corning Preserve trail since it flooded. I've been biking down Route 32. It takes about 40 minutes.

Posts on biking should be on a new bicycling thread on this board, except insofar as they relate to the capacity of CDTA buses to carry bikes on the bike rack on the front of buses.
