Please list your contact info here if you feel comfortable being contacted by people who want to get in touch with someone from Public Relations.
This is reference for people who are either from another working group and want to get in touch with someone from PR or people new to Occupy Albany interested in becoming part of the PR working group.

Thanks for clarifying. Sent you my info to distribute as you see fit, just can't post it all here for occupational reasons.
I think that all the PR folks should have contact info for each other, too, and it should ALL go into the phone that's going 'live' tomorrow.

Hi--new to the discussions so hope I'm posting in the right place...looked thru other topics so tried to get as close as possible...been with you on other days and was there yesterday when the vet disrupted the speeches, photographed it briefly also. Personally I was glad of the way everyone handled it, but thought the police escort down the sidewalk was a little too much time allocated to this guy (with our attention there too), who was not in any medical danger (tho he said he was), was not assaulted (tho he said he was), and whose intent was clearly to gain attention for himself. OK--everyone went on once police escorted him away. But today on Midday Magazine on WAMC, Dave Lucas reports: www.publicbroadcasting.net/wamc/news.newsmain/article/0/2706/1869158/WAMC.News/Occupy.Albany.Saturday.RallyVery glad of Daniel Morrissey's excellent response, but I do not think WAMC should have left the vet's accusations unanswered for the public, and I think it deserves a clarification/elaboration/response/ something for the public (tho no guarantee any such clarification would get aired). AMC is usually pretty good about so-called "balance" (at least the media's definition of it), but this left the vet's spewings floating. Don't know if you have contacted specific media in the past re coverage, and realize such an action would have to be agreed on by all, but I did not like the story at all and it starts a bad precedent. Possible to contact Dave Lucas with an offer to elaborate/explicate? The day did go on with much else, and Lucas should have said this. Thanks, Jeanne

Thank you so much for this.
I did not even hear it originally.
The issue of deliberate misinformation by self-agended counter-protesters is certainly an issue we will probably be expected to address on more than one occasion.
If you notice anything else feel free to email us directly. We don't always get our eyes on everything.

fwiw, the TU did a much better job reporting on this incident. (photos captioned that he was "trying" to argue with occupy folks got the jist across, and then it also said in the article that he argued with the cops too.)
