I'd like to add a proposal to the agenda that we make available a flyer for participants of GA's (or working groups if needed) explaining the basics of consensus process. I will provide a draft but will be open to collaborative revision, or using someone else's text instead, etc. This is not top priority and if the agenda is too full I'm ok with saving it for later.

Sorry I'm a little late hoping in here but would like to attend the meeting. Sounds like we agreed on Thursday (tonight) @ 8:00pm but did we set the location? I'd seen both Citizen Action and Furnace in the thread. Thanks! Colin

Nevermind I found my answer on a different thread - looks like we are set for The Furnace on Grand St. tonight at 8:00pm. : )

What about instead of a flyer for consensus (or along with it) a large format poster at the door? It may save paper and be more visually appealing. Also if we decided to have greeters, which might be a good idea, they could approach people reading it to answer questions, etc.

Thanks for putting that together Emma!
Do we want to add, maybe early on, a short debriefing on facilitation at the two GA's in Albany so far? We might not need to take the time for an open discussion, just throw out quick brainstorm-style lists of what worked, what was challenging, and ideas for what might help. I'd suggest not trying to decide on improvement strategies as part of this agenda item, but rather using the information from this to inform the decisions we make in the rest of the agenda. And of course if there's some new idea that isn't covered by any of the existing agenda items someone could make a new proposal. Does that seem useful, or would our time be better used otherwise?
BTW I have a portable easel and big paper and markers, and will bring them tonight unless someone says we've got that covered already.

I haven't chimed in since the date / time was made "official", so I just wanted to say that I'll be there at / by 8PM tonight. I'll try to be a little early to open the place up- I'm giving an exam 'til 7:30, so I should be able to get there by 7:45 - 7:50. The space has a couple of huge whiteboards.
