On Thursday we agreed that the facilitation team for Sunday's assembly would meet right before the assembly (half an hour before, I think we said?) but we did not manage to choose a location. GSCA will be holding the People's Mic event so we won't be able to meet inside. I saw that at least one other working group had the idea of meeting at that time at the Furnace, though I don't know if that was confirmed as their plan. Since we want to be accessible to assembly participants who might want to ask questions or add something to the agenda, what if we just meet outside near the front door to GSCA at 4:30? The weather is supposed to be cool, but not rainy. Thoughts?

I think I can make arrangements to meet at Citizen Action but it's not nearly as convenient as the Furnace. And I would need someone to tell me early tomorrow so I have time to get someone to let us in. Phone is 518-308-8459.

If you want to check on Furance availability, you might want to email Matthew directly since these forums don't have tagging capabilities.

The Furnace is already hosting another WG's meeting before the meeting of the GA. The entire meeting process is being presented as a proposal- of course we're going to be implementing the decisions of our WG as we facilitate the meeting tomorrow, but we'll be very clear that the elements of the process, including the seating arrangement, are open to amendment / change. I'll be covering all of our specific decisions during the report back. I've been told by one of the organizers of the open mic that the event will end in time for the meeting to begin- it will be great to have people who attended the event stick around for the meeting.
