So a bunch of people are meeting informally, any time between one and five on Thursday, at my house (e-mail or PM me for the address - rcdrakewrites on google's mail service) to work on puppets. I expect this to be weekly for a while. Bring ideas and supplies, but there's no need to bring any skills or experience. We can use (some to use up, some to borrow while crafting): - men's white work shirts and ties
- white flour
- newspaper, scrap paper
- large sheets of cardboard (with folds is fine)
- masking tape, paper tape, or painters tape
- paints, especially in colors appropriate for making people
- lightweight sticks, like bamboo, PVC, wrapping paper rolls
- empty tin cans
- staple guns
- box cutters
- very large pieces, +3 yards, of lightweight fabric
- backpacks with metal frames
- tents (for the sheets of fabric and the lightweight poles)
- grandiose sizes of tarp and plastic for inflatables
- rope inner tubes
