There is organizing taking place for the October 15th Global Day Of Action (see OWS website-- occupywallst.org/article/october-15th-global-protest-info/). While I understand that this was not discussed at the last GA, there needs to be a strong turnout in Albany. Here is the press release that is going out: EVENT: Sit in for Solidarity DATE: Saturday, October 15th TIME: 2 pm to 5 pm LOCATION: NYS Capitol Building, Albany, NY East Side, Eagle & State Streets Members of Occupy Albany and other groups will be meeting this Saturday to show their support for Economic Justice and solidarity with the Occupy movements happening around the country. October 15th is also a designated international day of action to let the voices of the disenfranchised around the world be heard. Please invite your members and contacts to attend. This is an all inclusive event. We welcome speakers from your group to make a speech at the event if interested. Thank you. Currently there are only a few people working on outreach. Help with Flyers would be good.

One of the flyers that got posted in a thread on the Outreach WG board has this event's information on it as well as on the next GA meeting. I am posting them around SUNY Albany today and later this afternoon there is a Permaculture Guild meeting at my house so I'll spread the word there too and continue to work on it over the next two days. In other words, I'm on it and I'll be there.
