Hi,
My name is Arie, and I'm a Human Resource manager by day, progressive thinker by night.
I'm here because I want to help make a difference, but am in a point in my life where active protest/demonstration/marching is not an option. Cooking/Gathering/Donating time seems to be the way to go for me right now.
I'm not an expert chef of anything, more of a culinary master of PBJ, but I'm here to help in anyway that I can.
I look forward to meeting everyone and working together for the greater good.

My name is Rachael. I am a currently unemployed. However, I recently graduated with degrees in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. I have cooked at the Free School and I have lots of experience cooking for large numbers. Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free as well as all other yummy stuff for the masses. I can help organize kitchens, cook, sanitize whatever! I don't have a huge ego, I just love to feed people! Happy to offer my ideas, skills, etc. I live near GSCA

My name is MaryB. I am retired and get around the area by bus and the kindness of others. I am available for contacting potential sources of materials that are needed and/or persons who've offered to pick up and transport donated food/goods. I can help with developing pick-up schedules and contact lists, etc., if those functions are not yet adequately filled. I can be recognized by my cane and MaryB name tag at today's GA. See you there!

I'm Adam.
I'm a regular cook at Food Not Bombs on Tuesday and I've coordinated many large scale cooking operations for protests, walkouts and fundraisers along with Matt, Abe, Charlie and many others over the past two years. I've also been fired from one of the better restaurants in Albany...
You'll be seeing me around quite a bit!

Hi All My name is Lisa. I'm also a part of the Legal working group, but my understanding is that we can be apart of as many working groups as we'd like. I'd love to help out in this area as much as possible. I'm a pretty swell cook, have a load of recipes and have done organic veggie gardening the past 2 summers. Please let me know how I can help. I will try to make it to meetings as much as possible. I'd love to see as many alternative menu options as possible. Vegan, Vegetarian, Low Carb, etc. I know that can get tedious, but it will go a long way in keep our occupiers happy!
Thanks!
Lisa B.

My name's Catie. I have a car and am happy to pick-up/drop-off food to wherever it needs to go.
I don't have experience with cooking for more than 15 or so people (yet), but I love to cook.

hi jules here,
I appreciate the power of a group to make its decisions organically, together on the land.
I have experience doing logistics for large non-hierarchical gatherings, including water delivery, food distro, and public health and sanitation.
I have equipment that I could lend to this movement including (but not limited to): large pots and pans, other food prep utensils. Large food grade containers for storage, filtration, and distribution of water.
I'm particularly concerned right now that no one has been able to tell me where this occupation plans to pee and poo. This is a threat to the public health and safety of this event and its participants from the get-go.
I plan to show up on Friday and see what and how I can assist, but my time is limited and I won't be able to stay for an extended period until Sunday at the earliest.
peace

Hi! Name is Sue. Met Scott at the last GA meeting. Own my own small business and vend at the Troy Farmers Market. I have a licensed and insured business and kitchen. Chafers, hotel pans, soup banes, pump pots etc.... Want to join in and help feed the Occupiers, Schedule is 'somewhat' flexible. Please let me know what I can do. Used to feeding very large groups. Want to network with fellow vendor for donations. Is this OK?

I should admit I overcommitted and un-register from HR. I still hope to lend a hand occasionally but I'm not managing much at this point. I'm sorry.

I would like to help with management of food so that what is available can be put to good use, to reduce waste, and provide nutritious meals. I can cook at home I live nearby & work F/T in Schenectady. I do have a car and can take items to the food bank.
